Career change

September 9th, 2010 at 07:51 pm

I am beginning to prepare for the series 7 and series 66 and LAH exams so I can prepare financial plans for a living.

I removed all my old blog posts because that might represent a conflict of interest with my new endeavors. Posts here will be more of commentary on various articles I read, I won't be posting advice anymore.

Have a good one.

Best wishes!! Study hard. I passed the series 6 quite a few years back with an 88%. I know the 7 is a bit harder, but I know you will do a great job!

As I said on your board thread, best of luck. We'll miss your input.

It is kind of funny to look at your blog stats now. Your number of entries got reset but your total visits didn't so it looks like this one post has garnered over 133,000 hits.

What's the word? How did it go? I am just now learning that you changed careers. I hope all is well.

I have started my own firm called ForTreess LLC (as in see the Forest through the trees) and plan on managing investments as a part time business while I head back into engineering. I am also starting another company called AmiTechEnt (as in Amish Technology Enterprises) which will write financial software and web sites.
