   I picked quotes from Obama 7-6 yet I intend to vote for McCain... this got me thinking, but I just don't like the way he answers questions indirectly.

   I was split the same as jIM: 7-6 Obama. So, not quite decisive for me. I make it a habit not to tell anyone who I'm voting for.

   Obama 8:5. And remember, I'm Whig. Doesn't this tell you more about how these quotes are crafted (relatively generic and mostly reasonable), rather than the candidate?

   9 to 2 in favor of my candidate. But I feel that most of the campaign rhetoric is designed to make both candidate's seem more centrist. Words are cheap, so I put a lot more emphasis on past actions. This is the same thing that happened with Bush v Gore in 2000. Both candidates were made to seem much more moderate than they actually were.
